Implementation of the Sustainable
Development Goals in Russia up to 2025
This report, prepared by the experts of the CSDR, is devoted to an analysis of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Russia by the end of 2024. It is structured around five key areas identified in the preamble of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development that are of particular importance to humanity and the planet: people, planet, prosperity, peace, and partnership. The report pays considerable attention to the situation of civil society, which continues to work on the implementation of the SDGs in Russia, despite numerous barriers and challenges. The conclusion presents recommendations to the international community to support independent civil society and democratically-minded citizens of Russia.
The Coalition for the Sustainable Development of Russia (CSDR) is a social movement of civil society, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in Russia and abroad by 2030. The Coalition includes civil society activists and public figures whose expertise covers all areas of sustainable development.
